Jeanie Dunlap, LCSW

Jeanie is an LCSW. Jeanie received her Bachelors and Masters of Social Work from Texas A&M University - Commerce. Jeanie began her career as a social worker in 2013 working with children and families  through several agencies over the next five years (Communities in Schools, Child Protective Services  and Lamar County Head Start). In 2015 Jeanie branched into the clinical world working with adolescents at Glen Oaks Hospital as a therapist, this led to a passion and a four and a half year journey working with children and then adults who were in crisis at Glen Oaks. In 2019 Jeanie was offered the opportunity to become an individual therapist working with those struggling with addiction and their families, which is where she has been for the past year and a half. Through her training and experience Jeanie has developed knowledge and skills at providing CBT, DBT, REBT, LEAP, CPT and Trauma focused CBT to those in need. Jeanie is experienced in providing individual, group and family therapy for children and adults. 


Jeanie offers individual and couples counseling to ages 10-99.


When not pursuing her passion of being a therapist Jeanie is a mom to three beautiful children whom she adopted and a fur mom to their lab/shepherd mix dog Bella.
